Not a bad value for the price paid! Accuracy and repeatability of my" Daniu" is reasonable at + or - .001" (.0254mm). Operation is not particularly smooth but is quite acceptable. I purchased two of these as a day to day rough work tools. The Daniu is not Starrett, Fowler or Mitutoyo quality and one should nor expect to compare to those fine instruments at this price range! But for any work where accuracy and repeatability needs to be not better than + or - .003" (.0762mm) this is a great value for what is truly a "disposable tool" once dropped or crushed!
