I have tried various LED bulbs from BG and got a White and a Warm White to compare. Both are very good and are now my first choice in this wattage in terms of price/performance. The White produces a very daylight-like like, whilst the Warm White does a very convincing imitation of an incandescent bulb, if you like living in the past! BG are only doing the White at the moment and that would be my choice now. The quality seems a bit low in terms of the plastic body feeling cheap, but it seems to do the job well, which is what counts.

I bought 3 of them, all had been sent in the boxes and working well, I will replace all home globe as LED , they brighten than I think .

Purchased one to test if savings over qulity uk bulbs were worth it. I was unimpressed, the bulb I received was poorly constructed and felt very cheap making me worry EC marks might not be warranted. The bulb itself was significantly dimmer than UK purchased Osram and supermarket own brand led bulbs with identicle ratings. Will pay a little more for UK sourced led bulbs as quality is assured. Had I purchased this bulb from a UK shop I would have returned it and complained.
