La torcia arriva in una scatola con materiale antiurto per proteggerla da eventuali danneggiamenti nel trasporto. Nella confezione oltre alla Torcia Astrolux DL01 vi sono il laccetto con tubo in silicone di protezione contro eventuali abrasioni al polso o al polsino della muta o guanto. La torcia è costruita in alluminio e le zigrinature sull'ipugnatura sono fatte bene per avere una buona presa,l'impugnatura si divide dal gruppo led ed è fornita di 4 oring per renderla stagna dato che la si può usare sott'acqua quando si fanno immersioni,è garantita impermeabilità IPX8  = involucro protetto contro gli effetti della sommersione,si nota una forte resistenza nello svitare sia il tappo che il gruppo led e questo fa supporre che effettivamente possa resistere alle immersioni in profondità che comunque farò più avanti,il gruppo led si attiva tramire una ghiera con 3 modalità di intensità di luce che a mio parere è molto efficiente. Ora resta solo di testarla in immersioni che provvederò di fare nei prossimi mesi. Consiglio questa torcia a tutti,visto che dalle prove di utilizzo che fino ad ora ho fatto per me hanno dato un esito positivo.

The flashlight comes in a decent box with foam protection. In the box there is a special diving lanyard and manual. The body material is durable metal and has pretty good grib. It features a rotary switch of four positions. The first position is off, second is low, third is mid and fourth is high brightness. The last (fifth) position is off and makes possible to turn on immediately the flashlight at high brightness from off mode rather to go through all the other levels. It is suitable for diving and has two double o-rings to prevent water getting in. Due to grease in the threads the positive contact might be dirty and flashlight will not turn on. To fix this issue unscrew the head of the light and clean that contact with an ear q-tip. It will work afterwards. I tested the flashlight using 20700 and 18650 batteries, it worked well and had a great max outperformance of 2230 lm. I also tested it underwater and didn't notice water leak inside the unit.
