I purchased the double green filters (XY-2882) , 2 for a 20-gallon tank. They keep the tank clean and I can run both filters on a Tetra 10 air pump. They exhaust small, quiet air bubbles providing a gentle flow around the tanks. I like the green sponges because they allow me to see if they are getting dirty. My only complaint is with the media container. The lid does not lock securely. If they are mounted horizontally, it's easy to dislodge and spill the media all over.
