The lock is excellent quality and works reliably. Having to log into the China Mainland server in order to find the lock connection is less than ideal since you end up with translating Chinese pages.

Just installed the lock and it really is amazing, configuration was really easy, and door mounting ok, cables are quite big and rigid, so a little bit complicated in order to handle them while applying the final mountage. Looks are really amazing. Installed on a door with little less than 40mm and it was good.

Watch some YouTube videos about the installation before buying, and remember that you need China as selected country on you MI app for it to work. Took ~3hours to install with good tools so it's not an easy job, but works a charm!

door lock is NOT recognised by the Aqara app, thus no configuration possible. worthless. only chinesE, no English manual. Feels plastic, not aluminium as described. ok: omekit does recognise it.
