Small, light and convenient. It measures accurately and in fact behaves like an LS-1S with the continuous measurement capability even though it is marked LS-1 on the body. I believe this was a "transition" period. While it doesn't have the bells and whistles of the LS-P, it is very useful. The lanyard strap is very difficult to fit though - best you try using a needle or safety pin to fish it out of the hole. I didn't expect that from a IF-design award winner.
