excellent little tuner, i purchased because the internal tuner of my Yaesu ft450 was very restricted to what it would tune. The ATU-100 arrived safe and sound in a small package but well wrapped in bubble wrap, upon opening i proceeded to charge via usb until the light went out. I took my radio to high ground along with a multiband sx-80 vertical antenna the Tuner dealt with every band 3.5-50mhz and i even tried tuning top band 1.8mhz something the antenna was certainly not designed for and low and behold it tuned with ease with a SWR close to 1.2.1 , obviously although tuned the antenna, it was not good on performance. This Little ATU surprised me it is extremely quick , although supplied without any instructions a seasoned Radio Ham operator would deal with this without any difficulty, i did tune using around 30 watts and a carrier from fm, i know its rated 100 watts but i aired on the side of caution , once tuned up to 100 watts SSB without any problems what so ever . I did check the displayed SWR against what the ft450 said it was, and there was no discrepancy . Do i recommend this product , Yes for the cost no one can complain and performance given its a bargain , i would if needed buy again .

Great piece of equipment. In a few seconds fixes high SWR at a lower level that I managed to obtain with the previous, manual, tuner. Follows in real time modifications in antenna SWR (rain, ice) and fixes that. Has an efficiency indicator: amount of power arriving to the antenna. Quite OK!

Very effective well built handsome unit, recommended. Running with 100W with no problems. Fast tuning. Lovely tiny front panel. Long lasting battery. Yet to work properly it requires some 5-6 effective FWD watts, at least my unit. So it will not tune with a 5W RTX's (817) with moderate SWR since the resulting FWD power before tuning is lower than 5W. With a 991a set to 8W RIG , tuning is fine.
