The microscope was well packaged, so it arrived ok. Despite most of it be plastic it is very usefull for electronics. The focus is fixed, the object to observe stay around 7cm from the lens, not much but enough to work with soldering iron or hot air. The eye pieces are quite loose, but some tape resolve that problem. For small pcb (like cellphones) it´s ready to use, but to work with big pcbs some modifications in the support is needed. The included light is ok. It is quite trick to adjust interpupillary distance, but I guess it should be the same for better microscopes. In the future I would try a digital microscope. Overall for my first microscope it´s a great tool for electronics.
