I bought this to measure gradients in my back garden before beginning landscaping and to get dado rails and picture rails at the same heights across two large rooms. It works very effectively, projecting a clear "+" and a bubble spirit level allows the user to get the level correct so the prjected horizontal and vertical crosslines are true. I have recently received a tripod from Banggood to simplify putting this at the right height. i'm happy with my purchase and believe it represents good value.
