This is very interestingly suitable for purpose. I chamfered the edge of the antenna base in other to fit in the radio (UV-9Rplus) and it fitted well. I so much like it as it enhances transmission/reception. I have been able to cover a wider area of communication with this model of antenna on UV-9R+, thank you bangood.

Very good and flexible antenna. Fits well on Baofeng UV-5R and Wouxun kg-uvd1p. Didn't have a chance to test and compare it yet but from the looks of it, it appears promising. It's made in China, so probably it's not a genuine one, but that's fine as long as it does it's job.
