The main CO2 measurement is responding not only to CO2. I've opened a canned fish on the same table with the detector and, in a short time, the CO2 indicator jumped from 700 to 2300. The HCHO and TVOC numbers seem to be derived directly from the CO2 readings only. I think it is using one single general air quality detection device, which is sensitive to everything. At least when you move the detector from inside to outside, it indicates a lower CO2, HCHO and TVOC concentration. The bar-style display at the bottom is a good general indicator of air quality. For the low price, it's still useful and worth having. Easy to read display.
