I have these paired with the Emax RS2306 2400kv motors and so far so good. They don't get hot and have all the power I could need on tap with a Gemfan 5152 tri-blade prop. They are a little larger than your average ESC, but they still fit nicely on a Armattan Chameleon frame. To give them a little more protection I had some 3mm red acrylic cut. Then stuck it on top of the ESC's with tiny strips of double sided foam tape. Also heat shrink wrap either side to cover where the wires are soldered and hold the acrylic on better. The ESC is foam taped to the arm to prevent any chance of shorting out on the carbon.
