Bought this as it was something different. Although the hovercraft concept is a fun idea I don't think it will be much good outside. Have only used inside up to now but it needs a totally flat surface or it loses the small amount of lift it has got and gets stuck. You need it on high speed setting. As a quadcopter it is very well behaved and responds well to the controls. My experience with small quadcopters is generally they are uncontrollable and just do whatever they want. Overall great fun for the money. The instructions in the box are only in Chinese. Strange as everything on the box is English. You can translate the instructions with the Google translate app using the camera on your tablet or phone. You don't need to try your hand at Chinese writing.
