09:23 pm Fri 10 January 2020 Constant current constant voltage step down converter. Good product and operates according to instructions, with good voltage control and current limiting. Running at 3.0 amps with a heatsink on the 5 pin chip and the heat output is satisfactory. My boards were different than the illustration with the inductor mounted horizontal rather than vertical. This horizontal mounting allowed the inductor to come within 1mm contact of the 5 pin chip heatsink. I had to support the inductor with a dollop of silicone to ensure stability and security. I think the horizontal versions require this support as a minimum requirement. I would buy again Cheers...Gerry
