Pretty good little heating elements. I’m using these not for paving my lungs but to create little smoke machines for special fx. Their resistance varies between 1.8 and 2.2 ohm and they heat up quickly. Good stuff!

MichelReij One addition: in use their resistance seems to go to around 1 Ohm, resulting in a power draw roughly equal in Ampere to the voltage. So when you feed 3 Volt, the current will be around 3 Ampere. And at 4 Volt, it’s 4 Ampere.
When using a mixture of about 80 percent vegetable glycerin (VG) and 20 percent Propylene Glycol (PG), it will start producing smoke at around 2,8 Volt, and thick smoke at 3.5 to 4 Volt.
