If you don't need screen output, or 1GB of RAM, this board is a very nice and cheap alternative to the RPI. I use it a small server for various things. So I only need SSH. For me the main points are that it's very cheap and compact. It doesn't have a big community like the RPI, but that's not a problem for me. It is still very easy to install Linux on it. I used Armbian, since they have a custom image for this exact board. And there are plenty of tutorials online. But you can also install other OS on this board (like openWRT). Pros: - Very compact - Very cheap - Onboard 16MB storage (so you don't need an SDcard in case of OpenWRT) - Wifi - Nice case Cons: - No HDMI (if you need that, plenty of other boards to choose from)
