Nice flashlight. Very bright and compact and sturdily built of metal. The battery was fully charged when received. It has four documented modes, bright, dim, strobe and SOS. I found out that if I press the on button quickly 2 times a brighter mode will come on giving it actually 5 modes. If I don't want to cycle through the modes to shut it off I just give the tail cap a slight twist counter clockwise and it shuts off and give a slight twist the other way to reset. I'm glad I bought it.
