I installed a Seagate Laptop Thin HDD with 500GB and tested it with a large file. The write speed was at 100MB/SEC.

This Item worked very well to replace a 2.5 Hard Drive from an old laptop so I can use the storage space and because of its size I take it with me to store DATA and Photos I require for my work. I just returned from my latest trip and because of its size and so little weight and its availability most of my work was stored on the drive in this Enclosure instead of on my Laptop.
