I cannot recommend these enough. If you use a two-piece rod these are perfect. I used to make my own out of cheap velcro tape these are a great upgrade. Some kind of neoprene that cushions the rod blank and prevents them from touching each other. If you fish a lot you absolutely MUST buy these. Highly recommended.
