Technology just keeps improving! These new LED lamp bug zappers, are not only much lower-powered than the previous-generation's fluorescent bug-zappers ( @ 1.5watts, they are negligible really!), but the lamps are much longer lived, and illuminate more-evenly than fluoros. The grid is the same size as in previous 30 watt fluoro bug-zappers, but could stand to be closer-spaced for the smaller insect-biters. The smaller plastic package is lighter, yet has the same size bug-killing-grid as the much-heavier and larger, previous metal-cased fluoro types. The subdued 1 watt LED-lamps, do double-duty as a room night-light, making it unnecessary to use the normal room lamps, for the night-time-visit to the toilet. Definitely recommended, because it is the next-generational technical-evolution of the bug-zapper.
