The adapter will not fit a normal 1/4 inch hex impact driver chuck as it is too long .You must grind off the end of the adapter to the same length as a normal 1/4 hex bit as shown in photos which I have fitted to a 13mm Panasonic drill chuck to use on the end of a impact driver
