A stylish version of previous model vernier calipers but still very good value for money. The display also has optional formats for measurement stats. too, making it more flexible for different uses. The backup linear scales though, are printed rather than etched and this may limit useful lifetime - fine in normal use, though. I also like the appearance, easier operation and extra functions. My main doubt is with the durability and security of the plastic battery holder cover. If you lose it it or it becomes loose, you have no display and no easy fix).
