The LEDS work just fine, I've bought several of these and so far none of the LEDS have broken or been DOA. The little remote controlled driver is a different story, these are very much built to a cost rather than spec. According to the specification they can run on 5 to 24 VDC but running them on more than 20 volt can severely reduce the lifetime of the driver down to a few weeks or months.
